Workshop Calendar Project-Based Learning

The Office of Professional Development in Educational Technology assist schools/teachers within the Archdiocese of Chicago with integrating technology into their curriculum and instructional methods.

In addition, the office provides workshops, resources and current news related to educational technology.  The technology workshops provide participants with cpdu’s, are free of charge and can be held locally at your school. The workshops can be customized to fit the needs of your school’s faculty and emphasize the educational aspects of integrating technology into the classroom environment.

Furthermore, a ten week online Project-Based Learning (PBL) class is offered to schools/teachers within the Archdiocese of Chicago.  PBL enables teachers to engage students in various real-world projects that utilize technology.  PBL involves students researching and collaborating together in an integrated unit lesson in order to produce a product, such as a Webpage or PowerPoint presentation.
